Just wanted to send kudos on the 12/15 new additions to the Princess Crafts site...I adore it when you create templates and backgrounds to match! I use those very frequently when one of the other categories don't fit and it makes for a great 2 page layout! I'm on my 3rd book now (I'm binding them with www.realbooks-scrapbooks.com and have been more than pleased!) and can't wait to finish - although each one gets longer and longer since I'm taking more pictures and have more layouts now to use (I signed up for the computer scrapbook layouts site, too).

Since I came upon the Princess Crafts Site(by accident), took the Scrapbooking Course and became a member in August 05 I have made well over a hundred pages for my scrapbooks both 8.5" X 11" and 12" X 12". I ordered some CDs and signed up for the Soft Expressions pages, ebooks and every freebie program offered by Kathy and Wes on the Newsletters.

I could go on and on about these sites and products but the thing that impresses me the most is the great service and advice I get whenever I come up against something I can't seem to fix myself.

Keep up the good work - I can't wait to see what else you come up with in the future. Thanks for the great sites, the great pages and the great service.

It's been busy, busy, busy but I have managed to scrapbook my husband's trip to England and it turned out really well. Never having been to England myself yet, I would go on the computer and find out about some of the little places where he has friends or relatives and print out a little blurb about them to put with the pictures he took. I did it on 12" x 12" pages from your sister site and they are great.  I wish you and Wes and all your family, two and four-legged a very Merry Christmas - and the best of health and happiness in the New Year.

It is unusual, but really nice, that after a purchase you ask how a customer is doing with the subscription. You have exceeded my expectations with the follow-up!!!

Incidentally I haven't had the opportunity to sit down with the site and just enjoy it due to my mom's hospice condition. Working on digital scrapbooking is relaxing and renewing to my spirit!

Thanks so much...I just can't stay of the PC now... I have a 2 year old son and baby #2 on the way. Plus tons of nieces. I did the first niece an entire scrapbook of her first year of life by hand and needless to stay - no other child in the family has a scrapbook now...Not even my own child! It was so nice of you to call me today about the passwords. I wish I could have talked to longer about all you have been doing on your site.

The pages are just too, too AWESOME! I have been really tide up with my caregiver and now that school has started my protoge comes few and far between. At the moment I am only sure that she and her mother have shown interest in scrapbooking now. They work on them together at home. I'm trying to get them to bring them when they come so I too can see if I have started something good or bad.

About the soft expressions site I see you are now giving us a choice of colors on the layouts that is WONDERFUL.

Also I just read your information page on your subscription prices. Very nicely done. After someone reads that you are sure to get more subscriptions.

i was looking on yahoo and stumbled apon it while looking for something else.

went to the site and loved what you had to offer so i joined. i never looked at any other sites. i've been stock piling photos from the whole family. even relitives i don't even know. i've been putting them on a dvd. i also do family ancestry and was looking for back grounds on yahoo and found your site. and i had a wonder ful though to make my pictures into scrapbook. i did a little scrapbooking as a teenager, but got bored with it pretty quick. but i love doing it with your all ready made pages. its easy and fast and most of all my pictures look awsome in your pages.

keep the pages coming beacuse i'm hooked and have lots of pictures to do. love all of your sites i'm now a member of them all and will be as long as you keep making the pages thank you

i would love to say a few word i think your sites are the best that i've seen. with your pages you make scrapbooking fun. not only fun, but now i can have a really pretty scrapbook and scrap dvd.

i love working with my computer and have always been doing pictures. i put all my family pic.(mine my grandparents slide mothers and sisters pic. ect.)on a dvd it's still a work in progress, and gave it to my grandparents for christmas,just befor my grandmother passed away. when i saw your site i thought it would be wonderful to make a scrap dvd. now i can put all my pictures of my loving grandmother in or bueatiful pages she would have love them. i always made her thing a tablecloth using family pictures pillows with pic. for her wake i made a memory dvd with her pic. and fav. songs. so i thought it would be nice to put her in y our pretty pages.

it's fun easy and fast, i have about 5000 or more pic. and i might get done before my grandfather passes although he's got a lot of years left.

I have been a member of PrincessCrafts only about a month but I feel I have already gotten my money's worth! I just started into digital scrapbooking since I retired and love your Web site. Here I was in my little office up here in St. Albert, Alberta Canada and having come upon your site that day by accident, I decided to take the free Scrapbooking 101 Course you offer and it was "love digital scrapbooking from the get-go"!!!

I've done over two dozen pages in the short time I've been a member and am enjoying every minute. I would love to do it all day long but having a husband, a house and two dogs, I have to pay attention to those things too. I am a new beginner in Scrapbooking and this site has given me a whole new outlook on scrapbooking. Digital scrapbooking is just as fun as scrapbooking by hand... This site has wonderful training sessions, fun tips and beautiful scrapbooking templates etc... It is well worth the membership fee... Not to mention the great downloads it has and all of them are included with your membership... WOW.....

Right now I'm just digitally scrapbooking some of my dog pictures into the Critters Category - Once I got the Open Office Program loaded the second time around I've just been having fun. Please excuse the late response, but I love your website and all the helpful information you supply. Currently, I'm doing a start-up business and as you know, it is very demanding, but I can create my scrapbook pages very easily (even if I do nothing but a simple layout). Believe it or not, I sometime use scrapbooking as down time, just to put my focus on family and friends during this hectic business time.

First of all I want to give you a feedback about the lessons for scrapbooking.  They are very well explained and as Katy said they are addictive and I can't stop reading it. Although I was not able to download the software yet I understand almost everything.

I am not an english speaker but this has also helped me to improved my english. I live in Uruguay and my language is spanish. However I would recommend your site to everyone I know, some of them would not be able to read it as they don't speak english. Don't you have it in spanish, do you?

Thanks for the reminder. I have not done anything with the intermediate course yet... I was reading it...but have not put it to actual use yet. I have been ill and so has the 2 grandsons that I baby sit. It has kept me busy and when they go home...I am resting...lol

I promise you, when I get around to finishing up...I sure will let you know.

I really do love the [FREE] program. I thought that MS Office was the berries...but I think this is better...and without all those added programs bogging down my system. Thank you so much for finding such a great little proggie. And those 3-programs in one are all you really ever need...unless you are a OFFICE...lol

I always wondered how to do the scrapbook from computer...I was doing it all in PSP....hit and miss if you know what I mean. But with this program...it is so easy!!

Now...I need to get back to the baby...I saw this message and wanted to let you know...I have not forgotten you...just been busy and ill. I am feeling better.... and just maybe I can get to doing some of this this weekend.

PS.,My sister loved the scrapbook lessons...she couldn't wait to get home so she could try it!

Thank you so much for the information. I love the tutorial. I am a computer geek and this program is wonderful. I do have a question. When you print your layouts, do you print them on card stock or on photo paper? I know to print the pages for background to use card stock but what about when you have created the entire layout on the computer and you want to print it?

Kathy's Answer:  I print right on the card stock when I want an antique or matt look and on photo paper when I want a more traditional photo (shinny) look or when I'm putting my pages in frames to hang on the walls - These make fabulous wall hangings!

Dear Kathy,

I am very happy with what I have learned with your classes. I have a cousin that has been doing our family history, and she and I would like to make a book for all our older members of our family to pass down. We have all the pics scanned and cleaned up but I was not having the results I would have liked in making scrap book pages for each member of the family with the dates of birth death and mirages as well as children.

Your class has helped me a great deal in showing me where I was making the mistakes as well as some new tricks that made things easer for me. I have Paint shop pro 9 as well as Adobe photo shop and Publisher. I love them all for different parts of my projects.

And with what I have learned I can use this on all three programs to get the results that I wished. We are hoping to have this book
formatted and printed by Christmas, along with a more detailed photo gallery and information on cd for each of our parents and aunts and uncles as well as all our great grandparents' kids, kids.

It is a big project but it is one of love. My father as well as her father are looking forward to receiving there copy.

I would also like to tell every one that a good source for images is free wall papers for your pc. In point my grand father was a ship builder in World War II and I found a pic of a ship that was built in the same ship yards that he worked in.

I am planning on putting the pics that I have of him as a child and to adult on this wall paper. As well I took a pic that my aunt took of one of my uncle's favorite hunting dogs; I am planning to use it in the same way.

I think the best way to do a family history book is to find hobbies of each of the members of your family or work places something you know they are very prowed of and use it for a back ground.

I am so happy with this program. It answered all my questions as well the web sight gave me some great ideals. I think you very much.

I am enjoying this stuff... I have wanted to do this for a long time...but was not real sure how to go about it. Then I began to learn PSP...that was a start...at least now...I scan my photos or receive them via email...then I don't have to worry about distroying the originals.

Now...I have my digital camera...and that is the only way I get my photos...so the Digital Scrapbook will be AWESOME!! Thank you for coming up with this wonderful idea.

Tutorials:  I absolutely love them. I'm still new to the site and finding more tutorials to learn from, but I can't seem to get enough.

Navigation:  At first I had a little trouble, but I'm starting to get around a lot better now, although I do still accidentally stumble on the Word Art tutorial and the page where the monthly letter is.

comments:  I was searching the internet for scrapbook lessons, and although I'd searched many times before, this was the first time I'd seen your site. My eyes hit on it right away and the rest is history.

SORRY I DIDN'T WRITE SOONER... I LOVE THE SOFTWARE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING US... THE CLUB LOVES THE PAGES...THEY ARE SO PROUD OF THERE PAGES EACH MORNING BEFORE THE CLUB STARTS THEY SAY A SPECIAL PRAY JUST FOR YOU MRS KATHY .

..I WANTED TO WRITE SOONER BUT I WAS SICK FOR A FEW DAYS...AND MRS SALLY TAUGHT THE CLASS WHILE I WAS OUT... WE GOT SEVERAL COMPANIES THAT DONATED US INK CARTRIDGES...SO THAT HELPS US TO PRINT THE PAGES...WELL I HAVE TO SAY MRS KATHY YOU ARE THE CLUBS ANGEL CAUSE OUT OF ALL THE E MAILS WE SENT OUT...THE ONLY ONE THAT SENT A DONATION WAS YOU AND THE ONES THAT SENT INK CARTRIDGES AND ONE LADY THAT SENT SOME PAGES THAT WE CANNOT USE CAUSE THEY WAS ALREADY USED PAPER THE PAPER IS TORN AND FULL OF GLUE AND HAS HOLES IN IT

...I GUESS SHE MEANT WELL...AND THE REST THAT SAID THEY WOULD DONATE NEVER SENT ANY ITEMS....SO IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU MRS KATHY WE WOULD HAVE NOTHING...AND THE OFFICE SUPPLY BEEN DONATING US OUR PAPER.SO GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND FOR THE WONDERFUL WORK YA'LL DO AND FOR HELPING US OUT THANK YOU AGAIN HAVE A GOOD DAY...

Hiya,

My name is Gena, and I'm new to your site and have recently signed up for the computer scrapbooking 101 course. I'm enjoying this sooooo much, its like a whole new world. I bought my children each their own book and 2 for mom , and were making it a summer project to take to school this fall, they are thrilled. So far we have the front covers and 1 beginning page done. I'm very glad it was " your" site I saw first when I went looking for advice on this project :)

Thanks so much for sharing... I have printed these out...and I even saved so I can put on cd for reference later...if I should miss place the print outs...lol I grabbed a lot of backgrounds and extras...those are just awesome...and sure got my "brainstorming" going! LOL

I use Paint Shop Pro...and I know how to do a lot of this by myself... I have tubes that will last me forever and then some...lol and still collecting! I just needed the basics of how to get started...and I thank you for this opportunity to learn... I have forwarded your link for signing up to my sister...I hope that was ok. She loves Scrapbooking too! I told her she could grab some "goodies" from there if she signs up...too!....lol

I am printing as you send... and will get started on these on the weekends...as I baby sit through the week for a 1yr old and 4 yr old and now an 8 yr old. They keep me busy...

Anyway...thank you so much for offering this information to those of us who want to learn and want to do a neat and professional looking book...you sure provided the info...it is up to the scraper to do the rest...lol

You are a really specaial person to do this...even though I am sure it will generate "business" for you as well. This is one site link I will be hanging onto..so that when we come back... I will be coming back to this site...lol

I came upon your website by accident and never even realized there was something this great available!

I am so pleased with the various designs and themes that are available. The site is very user friendly, and I'm enjoying it so much.

Best of all, I am finally getting all of my pictures and memories organized with an added personal touch. I also appreciate the regular e-mail contacts provided by you for support.
